Joy Flourishes When We Lean on God in Weakness
Unshakeable joy is not the result of having it all together or being strong in yourself. Instead, it comes when you admit your need and lean hard on God’s strength. As you depend on Him daily—especially in your weakness—you discover that His grace is more than enough.
The world may run on fear, but followers of Jesus are called to live by the power of joy. Each day, choose to draw your joy from Christ, not your circumstances. Let your dependence on Him become a testimony to those around you, showing that real joy is possible even in the midst of struggle and uncertainty.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV): “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Reflection: What is one area of weakness or struggle where you need to lean on God’s strength today, rather than trying to handle it on your own?
