Loving Jesus and His Church
Loving Jesus and His Church
Loving Jesus means loving the church, as they are inseparable. The New Testament emphasizes the communal aspect of faith, with many books addressed to churches rather than individuals. Our spiritual journey is not just about a personal relationship with Jesus but also about being an active part of His body, the church, which He loves and for which He gave Himself. This calls us to engage with our church community, to serve, to love, and to grow together in faith, reflecting the love of Christ to the world.
Ephesians 4:15-16 (KJV): "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."
