Receiving and Reflecting the Great Exchange

Receiving and Reflecting the Great Exchange

At the heart of the gospel is the greatest act of humility: Jesus trading His glory for our shame, His righteousness for our sin. He did not simply die for us; He died instead of us, taking our place and offering us His perfection. This “great exchange” is the foundation of our salvation and the model for our relationships with others.
You are invited to receive this gift with gratitude and to let it transform the way you relate to others. As you lay down your pride and embrace humility, you reflect the grace you have received. The more you grasp the depth of Christ’s sacrifice for you, the more you are empowered to love, forgive, and serve those around you.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV): “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Reflection: In what relationship or situation do you need to lay down your pride and extend the same grace and humility that Christ has shown you? What would that look like today?
