Guided by the Spirit
While doctrinal knowledge is important, it should not replace our reliance on the Holy Spirit. A vibrant Christian life involves being led by the Spirit, who guides us into all truth and empowers us to live out our faith. The Holy Spirit is not just a distant force but an active presence in our lives, transforming our hearts and guiding our actions. We must remain open to the Spirit's leading, allowing Him to shape our thoughts, words, and deeds. This openness requires humility and a willingness to listen, even when it challenges our preconceived notions or comforts.
John 16:13 (KJV): "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
Reflection: In what area of your life do you need to be more open to the Holy Spirit's guidance? How can you create space to listen to His voice today?
