Jesus Understands: Our Savior Walks Our Roads 2/18

Jesus Understands: Our Savior Walks Our Roads

One of the most comforting aspects of the Incarnation is that Jesus truly understands our human experience. He wasn't immune to the feelings of our weaknesses; He was tempted in every way we are, yet without sin. He knows what it feels like to be betrayed, to be exhausted, to face poverty, to grieve, and to endure temptation. When life feels overwhelming or crushing, you don't pray to a distant deity, but to a Savior who has walked your very roads. He came near so that you would never have to face anything alone.

Hebrews 4:15 (KJV): “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

Reflection: When you feel misunderstood or alone in a particular struggle, how does knowing that Jesus personally experienced similar human emotions encourage you to turn to Him?
