Faithfulness Amidst Adversity
In the city of Pergamos, known as the “seat of Satan,” the church stood as a beacon of faithfulness amidst a backdrop of paganism and darkness. Faithfulness is not contingent on our circumstances but is a testament to our unwavering trust in God.
Revelation 2:13 (KJV): “I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.”
