The Promise of Eternal Reward
The Promise of Eternal Reward
For those who remain faithful, there is the promise of ruling with Christ and experiencing eternal life. This hope encourages us to persevere in our faith, knowing that a new day is coming when Christ will reign and sin's rule will end. Our ultimate reward is not found in earthly acceptance but in our relationship with Jesus. As we navigate the challenges of life, we can hold onto the promise of eternal life with Christ, allowing it to motivate us to live faithfully and courageously.
Revelation 2:26-28 (KJV): "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star."
Reflection: How does the promise of eternal life with Christ influence your daily decisions and actions? What steps can you take to keep this promise at the forefront of your mind?
