Investing in Others Leaves a Lasting Spiritual Legacy

Investing in Others Leaves a Lasting Spiritual Legacy

Intentional discipleship is not accidental; it is a purposeful choice to pour into the lives of others. Paul and Timothy’s relationship was built on years of shared life, honest conversations, and spiritual guidance. Mature believers are called to look for opportunities to mentor, encourage, and walk alongside those who are younger in the faith. This is not about having all the answers, but about being present, listening, and pointing others to Jesus through both words and actions.

You may not have had a spiritual mentor yourself, but you can choose to be one for someone else. The future of the church is shaped one relationship at a time. Your willingness to invest in another person’s journey of faith can have ripple effects for generations. Ask God to open your eyes to someone you can encourage, pray for, or simply spend time with this week.

2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV): “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

Reflection: Who is one person in your life, at work, church, or home, you could intentionally encourage or mentor in their walk with Christ this week? What is one step you can take to reach out to them today?
