Mediation Brings Healing Where Conflict Divides

Mediation Brings Healing Where Conflict Divides

Conflict is a reality in every community, even among those who love God deeply. The issue at hand is often less important than the division it causes. God’s way of handling conflict is not through gossip, avoidance, or taking sides, but through humble mediation and wise counsel.
Restoring peace requires honesty about our own hearts, humility to listen, and a willingness to submit to godly guidance. Just as Christ mediates between us and God, we are called to be peacemakers, seeking restoration rather than victory. When we invite others to help us reconcile, we open the door for God’s redemptive work and protect the unity of the church.

Romans 12:18-19 (KJV): “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

Reflection: Is there a conflict in your life that needs healing? Who is a wise, godly person you could invite to help mediate and restore peace?

Unity must be based on TRUTH. Jesus said; He brings a sword to divide mother against daughter, father against son, etc. Truth must prevail NOT compromise !!
