God’s power is made perfect in our weakness and grief

God’s power is made perfect in our weakness and grief

Jesus, who possessed all power and authority, experienced the deep pain of human loss. He chose not to prevent Joseph's death, entering fully into the grief that accompanies our broken world. This reveals a Savior who does not stand at a distance from our pain but enters into it with us. His ultimate victory over death gives us hope that our present sorrows are not the final word.

Hebrews 4:15 (KJV): “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

Reflection: Where in your life are you facing a situation where God's power could intervene, yet He seems to be allowing a difficult path? How does the truth that Jesus Himself walked a path of suffering change your perspective on this circumstance?
