God's Purpose in Inconvenient Journeys 2/12

God's Purpose in Inconvenient Journeys

Joseph and Mary faced immense challenges as they journeyed to Bethlehem, a 100-mile trek for a heavily pregnant woman. The timing seemed far from ideal, yet they faithfully obeyed the decree. This difficult journey, seemingly an inconvenience, was actually God's divine positioning to fulfill ancient prophecy. It reminds us that God's will is rarely convenient, but it is always purposeful, guiding us to exactly where He needs us to be, even if the path feels long and uncomfortable.

Luke 2:4-5 (KJV): “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.”

Reflection: Reflect on a time in your life when a difficult or inconvenient circumstance later revealed itself to be God's purposeful positioning. What did you learn about His faithfulness through that experience?
