God often uses unexpected messengers to deliver His truth

God often uses unexpected messengers to deliver His truth

The message of repentance did not come from a royal palace or a religious center, but from the wilderness through a man who seemed unconventional and unrefined. John the Baptist’s appearance and lifestyle were secondary to the divine authority of the message he carried. This shows that God’s focus is not on human credentials or platforms, but on faithfulness to proclaim His word.

1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV): “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

Reflection: When have you been tempted to discount a truth from God because of the messenger or the way it was packaged? How can you cultivate a heart that is more attentive to the content of God’s message than to its human delivery?
