Obedience Without Negotiation
The Lord’s instructions are not always accompanied by a full explanation. He asked His disciples to perform a simple yet strange task: untie a donkey and bring it to Him. Their obedience, without delay or negotiation, was the key that unlocked a miracle already prepared for them. When God speaks, He is not looking for our debate; He is looking for our immediate and trusting obedience.
Luke 22:13 (KJV): “So they went, and made ready the passover.”
Reflection: Is there a specific prompting from the Lord that you have been delaying or trying to negotiate the terms of? What would it look like to simply obey in this matter today?
