A Changed Life Is the Evidence of Real Faith
True faith in Jesus always produces visible fruit. It’s not about perfection, but about a new direction; a life marked by repentance, obedience, and growing love for Christ. When someone truly knows Jesus, their heart and desires begin to change. The evidence of this transformation is seen in the way they live, the choices they make, and the love they show to others.
It’s easy to say we believe, but the real test is whether our lives look any different because of Jesus. If our attitudes, priorities, and actions are no different from the world’s, it’s time to honestly examine our hearts. God’s Spirit works in us to produce fruit that points back to Him; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and more. This fruit is not the cause of our salvation, but the result of truly entering through the narrow gate.
Matthew 12:33-34 (KJV): “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you see God producing new fruit? Is there an area where you need to invite Him to bring real change?
