Surrendered yes opens ordinary lives to extraordinary work

Surrendered yes opens ordinary lives to extraordinary work

Mary’s “yes” was not a full explanation or a guaranteed comfort; it was a surrendered posture. Saying yes to God can mean releasing our plans, embracing uncertainty, and risking reputation. True faith often looks like a quiet, obedient consent rather than loud certainty.

When you practice a surrendered “yes,” you make room for God to write something new in your life. That may mean small acts of obedience today… a conversation, a commitment, a mercy… that seem ordinary but become the very places God begins to do remarkable things.

Isaiah 6:8 (KJV): “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”

Reflection: Identify one small but brave “yes” you can offer God this week (a conversation, a visit, a confession, a commitment). What is the first concrete action you will take to live out that “yes” in the next 48 hours?
