The Whole Region Was Buzzing
After Jesus set the man free, news spread like wildfire. People left the synagogue and told their families. They told their neighbors and coworkers. By supper time, the whole region was buzzing. They could not stay silent about what they had seen. A transformed life is the most powerful testimony.
The people were not talking about the music or the length of the service. Everybody was talking about Jesus. When Jesus changes a life, people notice. We still see this evidence today. Every saved sinner, every restored marriage, and every broken addiction testifies that Jesus is still King.
You may not have a dramatic exorcism story. But if Jesus has changed you, you have a story to tell. Your transformed life is a reminder that Jesus still works. Who in your life needs to hear about the freedom you have found in Christ?
“And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.” (Luke 4:36-37, KJV)
Prayer: Ask God for an opportunity to tell someone about the change Jesus has made in you.
