If My People Will Pray 7/17

 If My People Will Pray

God gave Solomon a stunning promise. He said if His people would humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from sin, then He would hear them. Then He would forgive them. Then He would heal their land. Revival starts with God’s people. It starts on our knees. It begins with a choice to seek God’s face above all else.

This promise is for a nation, but it begins with individuals. It begins with you. God is not waiting on a political leader or a cultural shift. He is waiting on His church. He is waiting on us to humble ourselves and pray. He responds to the cries of His children. Our greatest need is not another program, but another prayer meeting.

You long to see God move in your family, your church, and your nation. The path to revival is clear. It starts with personal humility and prayer. Will you be one of those people? Will you answer the invitation to seek His face?

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Prayer: Ask God to make you a catalyst for prayer in your circle of influence.

Challenge: Intentionally pray for one leader in your community by name today.
